Religion - A Mighty Force.

Religion is normally taken as something very personal, what does it mean, is it personal between an individual and God or is it personal in the sense he does not want to share it in public? If we look at it in both ways, it conveys the same meanings. Yes, this is personal between an individual and God and that is why he does not want to share it in public. True personal things are never shared publicly because it is something very secret and deep-rooted in your heart and mind and no one can judge or explore or conceive it, but God. That is why when an individual wants to explore or investigate other individuals with such deep-rooted secrets, the latter one gets emotionally disturbed and upset because he never wanted his secrets to be revealed to anyone. This is the force working at the back of an individual's mind making him dauntless and bold. The reason why people are involved emotionally when talking about religion.

I am not talking about the philosophical concept of religion but it is a driving force that needs to be acknowledged. The objective is to evaluate that how does it affect the life of a common man and how sensitive it is for him. It is just like a nucleus of an atom if injected with additional neutrons can release an uncontrollable and immense amount of energy. A mob charged with religious fervor can bring changes and turmoil among the communities, societies, and nations. Lots of examples can be quoted in this reference. The division of the sub-continent into India and Pakistan was the result of the same force working and forming the basis of the division. The Islamic Revolution of Iran, a nation charged with the same energy had thrown the powerful Shah of Iran out of his own country and he found no place to hide. The defeat of Russia - a superpower in the hands of Afghan Mujaheddin and driving them back to their country was the result of additional injected neutrons. The creation of the state of Israel is purely based on religious doctrine.
Religion is important in everyone's life no matter what class, category and creed he belongs to because it reshapes his/her lifestyle and guides him through procedures and processes which makes his/her life more disciplined and God-fearing here and hereafter.
